Consultant to various companies in the electronic security industry,
specializing in product development, product evaluation, marketing and
Underwriters Laboratories and Intertek/ETL listings. Independent consultation
regarding selection and installation of burglary, fire, access control,
specializing in alarm transmission. Volunteer involvement with many security
industry committees.
National Guardian Corporation - Greenwich, CT 1987 to 1996
Vice President of Engineering and Purchasing
Evaluated, selected and negotiated prices for all equipment purchased.
Developed the AAGARD product. Managed the Engineering and Training
Center. Provided proposal and sales support; vehicle fleet management;
support for central station computers. Interfaced with Underwriters
Laboratories and was liaison for industry associations. Directed Micro-State
Electronics, a manufacturer of electronic modules for the security industry.
NGC was acquired by Ameritech October 1995.
